What is Music Discovery at TikTok?

— The TikTok Music team built a set of features that make it easy for users to discover more music they love, such as TikTok-to-DSP and Play Full Song. We call this ecosystem “Music Discovery at TikTok.”

— Why we built it: short-form video has become a vital hub for music discovery. Most short videos come with a soundtrack, which makes them a natural place to find new songs. TikTok has also become an essential promotional channel for artists, while giving fans a steady supply of great music.
